I hold a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and a Master in Education from UCSB.
I am credentialed through the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing in Special Education and Biology.

My teaching career has taken me all over. I bring my experience in outdoor education, migrant multi-lingual education, virtual teaching, special education, and 10+ years of tutoring to the classroom to create unique and valuable learning experiences for students.

In my free time, I take it back to my roots in outdoor education with my learning garden, where I teach afternoon and weekend classes for kids and adults on California native plants, urban gardening, and garden-to-table cooking
